Dolphins at Sunset is the most luxurious, beautiful & relaxing place to be. So private & secluded by the surrounding trees around property, but with a complete water front view. We watched Dolphins swim & play past the private jetty everyday. The home is also great for children, securely fenced & heaven for those who love to fish like our son. We caught many species of fish off the jetty. Always returning them back to the ocean. Don't let Winter put you off either, it was mid June when we stayed. We will be back in winter again. The house is cleverly built to block majority of any wind on the back deck. During the morning's we would catch Tailors from the beach & return home to afternoon sun & sunsets not to be missed. Didn't even know it was winter. Can't fault this place at all, maybe a hot spa on the outer deck would fully complete the perfect holiday home. Everyone on the Island have been so friendly. We camp regularly on Straddie, but this was such a treat. From the bottom of our hearts, thank u to the owners for letting us share your beautiful home. We can see who ever built this place is a perfectionist. Well done!! We will be back. Clint, Kylie & Codey

This is a lovely, comfortable house in a beautiful location. The deck looking out over private jetty is special. There were literally dolphins at every sunset which the kids (and adults) loved. Would definitely stay again.

The minimal and modern style of the property. Quality kitchen amenities and outdoor undercover entertainment area.

We loved our stay at Dolphins (and there literally was Dolphins every night at sunset!). The house is exactly like the pictures - everything is new & modern & everything you will need is there. The view out to Moreton bay is spectacular, and you get a fabulous vantage point for watching the sunset each night. There is lovely beaches a short walk away, & other beaches are easily accessible by car. We hired a car in Brisbane to get to the island, & would definitely recommend having a car to be able to get around easily. We also bought supplies in Brisbane before going on the ferry, which we were glad of too, as buying basics in Stradbroke would be a little more expensive (although meat, seafood & fresh fruit/veg were great quality & good value). Overall, we would highly recommend choosing Colin's place to stay - it is truly a beautiful place to relax!
