Evan S - 25th August 2025We stayed at First Point Down for close to a week during whale watching season. Amazing view straight from the huge deck, which is also conveniently partially covered. The apartment itself was excellent, well appointed and spacious, neat, tidy and private with a high quality kitchen. The unit is within only a few steps of the best cafes and gelati on the island, as well as the entrance to the gorge walk. Easy walk up access and secure parking with remote access made unpacking and packing up quick and easy for us. Plenty of whales, kangaroos, curlews and other wildlife visible from the front deck also. Amazing place - highly recommended!

Danielle G - 17th June 2025Very happy with our 3 night stay at First Point Down 3 bedroom apartment. Lovely large balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean view was a fabulous place to relax and watch the whales travelling north. Inside apartment was beautiful and we could not fault it. Only issue was lounge room air conditioning we couldn't get to work but that could have been operator error who knows lol. Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Six Beaches restaurant which is less than 5 minutes walk from apartment. Highly recommend.
