Colin & - 4th September 2026Discover Straddie gave a better price than the online websites plus took care of the car ferry at the right price AND threw in a $50 restaurant discount. So yes, we really loved those few days on Straddie and were very happy with our accommodation – right on the lovely Cylinder Beach, so swimming or walking the coastal pathway to Point Lookout or the Straddie Pub. Clearly the unit owners have put a lot of effort into renovating it and it’s very comfortable with great décor

Helen J - 7th April 2026Loved the unit and the cleanest place we have stayed on the Island! Unfortunately we were not able to park our car in the designated undercover park as it was locked and we were forced to park in the public carpark at Cylinder Beacher - contrary to the advertisement which said there was undercover parking. The sign on the fridge stating body corporate rules was alarming - no air conditioner after 10 pm or on request of the residents above! Advertised as air conditioned.
