Getting to North Stradbroke Island
North Stradbroke Island is located on the eastern edge of Moreton Bay, just 25 kilometers from the Brisbane CBD. The world's second largest sand island, Straddie, as it know to those that have visited before, is 35 kilometers long and 12 kilometers its' widest point.
There is easy access with Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast approximately a 45 minute drive the Toondah Harbour in Brisbane's bayside suburb of Cleveland. From the harbour, vehicle ferries leave hourly as do the passenger ferries for walk on visitors.
