Wake up across the road from Home Beach at "Islander 22," a three-bedroom Point Lookout apartment sleeping up to eight guests, set in Islander Resort whic hfeatures a swimming pool and tennis court.

Bedrooms mix bunk and standard configurations, so groups of mixed ages settle in easily. The bathroom is modern and well-equipped, with an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before you're through the door.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and stove, opening onto an outdoor dining area. Inside, the lounge has a TV and Wi-Fi for the quieter evenings.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep things comfortable through the warmer months, and a washing machine and dryer mean you can pack light.

Outside your door, lush sub-tropical grounds lead to the resort pool and tennis court, plus a shared BBQ area for evenings with the group. Home Beach is directly across the road, and it's a short 400m walk to the Straddie Hotel. The bus stop is close by too, so a car isn't essential — though two undercover parking spaces are there if you bring one.

Please note: Islander 22 is on the third floor with no lift access — worth planning for if you're travelling with heavy luggage, prams, or have difficulty with stairs.
